Main Plot When a ransom drop goes wrong, Team One is drawn into the dangerous world of “express kidnapping” and the nightmare of a woman haunted by the brutal experience of captivity.

Trivia: Kevin Wordsworth reappears, rendering assistance to the team.

Sub-Plot Greg stops by Jules' house under the guise of delivering some coffee to her before surprising her with an envelope and telling her that Police Services had made her the "Law Enforcement Professional of The Year." Jules tries to appear excited but is visibly nervous about something and it is made apparent what she was so nervous about when, in the middle of Greg congratulating her, Sam comes downstairs (somewhat in a state of undress, as his shirt was unbuttoned and his chest visible) to ask Jules whether she wanted eggs for breakfast and stops short when he sees Greg. Greg is furious and tells them that the team is still on probation and, therefore, under intense scrutiny and that his job is on the line if it is ever found out that the pair are still dating, as their relationship is a direct violation of the Priority of Life code. Sam and Jules are apologetic and assure Greg that they are not in danger of violating the code and that they are being careful with concealing their relationship. They are then interrupted by a call for Team 1 to respond to a 911 call with a disturbance at a park and Greg tells them that they will resume their discussion later. At the end of the episode, Sam asks Greg what's going to happen from here on in (in regards to his relationship with Jules) and Greg seems to give them permission to continue the relationship as Jules tells him "We're not going to let you down boss," to which Greg nods and replies, "I have faith."
